Secutech 2024 concludes, spotlighting intelligent solutions in security and beyond

Taipei, 3 May 2024. Following the continuous development of artificial intelligence and loT further increasing prospects for manufacturers, Secutech 2024, Asia’s ultimate business and technology platform for security, loT and AI integration, concluded its 25th edition on 26 April. 300 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions showcased their technological advancements at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, welcoming 15,123 visitors (up 10% compared to the previous edition), including systems integrators, consultants, and distributors from Asia and beyond. The concurrent events of Mobility, Fire & Safety and SMAbuilding, along with 124 seminars, proved to be significant draws for buyers.

Taipei, 26 March 2024. Secutech to unveil advanced smart security solutions this week

Some 260 leading exhibitors are all set to welcome trade buyers in Taipei from 26 – 28 April 2023, with a cutting-edge display of smart security products across 15,120 sqm of exhibition space. International participants are set to return to Secutech following Taiwan’s decision to allow most arrivals from overseas to visit quarantine-free starting from mid-October. Secutech is back: physical fair opens for the first time since pandemic pause

Taipei is once again taking its place as the focal point of Asia’s security industry this week, as buyers turn their attention towards the 23rd edition of Secutech to discover what’s new and next in security and public safety. Taiwan is regarded by global buyers as one of the world’s leading producers of security hardware and software, and this potential has attracted 220 exhibitors to this year’s event, which takes place from 27 – 29 April in Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre. Alongside the physical fair, an additional 70 exhibitors are taking part digitally via the ‘Secutech Hybrid’ platform, helping exhibitors and buyers connect seamlessly from anywhere in the world until 19 May.

Returning in April: Secutech reveals details of physical and virtual events

With so much media attention currently focused on Taiwan’s technology exports, ‘potential’ has become the key word amongst exhibitors of this year’s Secutech. As one of Asia’s most influential trade fairs for security, IoT and AI technology, buyers recognise the fair and the wider region as the place to find cutting-edge ICT know-how and expertise. Returning from 27 – 29 April in Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, this year’s fair will present trade buyers with the full spectrum of turnkey security solutions as well as “Made-in-Taiwan” surveillance, video analytics and access control systems. In parallel to the physical fair, exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect with buyers from the international market via a digital event from 20 April – 19 May.

Secutech to be deferred to April 2022

Due to a recent wave of COVID-19 cases across Taiwan, the organiser of Secutech, the leading trade fair for the safety and security industry in the region, has announced the deferral of the upcoming 23rd edition. Previously scheduled to be held in July 2021, the fair will instead take place during the new timeslot of April 2022. In the meantime, the fair’s new online business matching platform will also be rescheduled, and will now go online from 7 July – 6 August 2021 to facilitate trade between suppliers and local and international trade buyers.

Secutech rescheduled to July 2021

Because of ongoing uncertainty caused by the covid-19 pandemic, including safety concerns and logistical difficulties facing participants, the organiser of Secutech has decided to reschedule the upcoming 23rd edition. Originally scheduled to be held in April at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, the fair will now take place from 7 – 9 July 2021 at the same venue. ‘Secutech hybrid’, the fair’s new online platform has also been deferred, and is now set to take place during the new timeslot of 16 June – 15 July.

Secutech introduces digital platform to run alongside April 2021 exhibition

To accommodate the needs of overseas participants, Secutech is launching an online platform to supplement its 23rd edition. ‘Secutech hybrid’, is the new digital platform that will allow international participants to network and conduct business meetings despite travel restrictions caused by COVID-19. The platform will go online from 19 April to 18 May 2021 in support of the physical trade fair, which returns to the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre from 21 – 23 April.

Messe Frankfurt defers 2020 edition of Secutech in Taipei

To safeguard the wellbeing of its participants in the wake of the recent Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Messe Frankfurt has announced the deferral of the upcoming edition of Secutech in Taipei – the company’s industry leading event for the safety and security industry. The event was originally scheduled from 22 – 24 April 2020.
