Taiwanese manufacturers to showcase integrated AIoT security solutions at April’s Secutech

28 Mar 2023

Opening next month from 26 – 28 April 2023, the upcoming Secutech promises to be a productive trade fair for the security industry. The 24th edition will showcase the latest trends in integrated AI and IoT smart security solutions, with over 300 local and international exhibitors poised to present their products in 500 booths across 15,120 sqm of exhibition space at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre.

"Taiwanese manufacturers are known around the world for their expertise in producing quality security hardware and software, and we're excited to see the latest innovations during the three-day show next month," says Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch. “Alongside many international exhibitors, Secutech will highlight Taiwanese manufacturers that provide turnkey smart security solutions. But that’s not all, a wide range of NDAA (National Defence Authorisation Act) compliant security products from high-tech local manufacturers will also be on display. With so much expertise gathered in one place, this year’s Secutech promises to be a highly effective trade fair for the industry.”

With an expected turnout of more than 15,000 international visitors, the fair is an opportunity for buyers to explore new technologies and exchange ideas with some of Taiwan’s leading manufacturers, including 3S System, AETEK, APPRO, AVTECH, Brinno, CyberLink, DEEPLET, DEFINITELY WIN, Delta, FUHO, GKB, Hisharp, HUNT, KLACCI, StarVedia and VIVOTEK. Other emerging brands specialising in AI solutions will include AIRA, FS-TECH, Harbor, PROFET AI, SMALLPEARL, and many more.

In addition to these exhibitors, this year’s international contingent includes ABB, Algatec, Avigilon, Corsight AI, CYPE, LHD, Metapix, Network Optix, VAXTOR and VCA, focusing on surveillance, access control, intelligent video analysis, and software and management platform technologies.

More sourcing options at concurrent events and specialist zones

Thanks to the additional product variety that they provide at the fairground, Secutech’s series of three concurrent events are always a popular attraction among buyers. This year, Mobility, Fire & Safety, and SMAbuilding will return to the show, bridging manufacturers from these closely-related sectors with buyers sourcing for security, transportation, smart building, and fire and safety solutions for their various projects.

On top of these, the fair will boast a range of pavilions and application zones to help exhibitors generate more engagement and interaction with buyers. These include the AI Club House (a collection of AI solutions for security), the IoT Cybersecurity Certified Product Showcase, the Security & AIoT Pavilion, the Access Control Pavilion, the Smart Factory & Industrial Safety Pavilion, the Smart Building & Living Application Pavilion, the Smart Transportation and Fleet Management Technology Application Pavilion, the Smart Railway Pavilion, the Disaster Prevention & Rescue Technology Zone, and the 5G & Communication Pavilion.

Fringe programme prioritises business connections and industry knowledge

With quarantine measures and arrival restrictions for foreign travellers to Taiwan now dropped, this year’s show is rolling out the red carpet for international visitors. To maximise the show’s effectiveness, the organiser will arrange a one-on-one Business Matching Programme between exhibitors and international visitors, including buyers from Cambodia, Europe, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE, and more.

Also expected to attract considerable footfall is the long list of fringe events helping participants get up-to-speed on market information. More than 100 conference and seminar sessions will be organised focusing on six topics: Security, Industrial Safety, Fire Safety & Disaster Prevention, Smart Building, Smart Transportation, and Smart Mobility Solutions.

As one of the most important trade fairs of its kind in Asia with a wide international reach, Secutech will also host two international summits focused on mobility and disaster prevention, namely the “Asia-Pacific Intelligent Rail Transport in Urban Summit” and the “2023 Asia Pacific Smart Disaster Prevention Summit”.
