Dates announced for Secutech 2025, show set to inspire innovation in security technology

Taipei, 2 December 2024. Secutech, the landmark event in Asia’s security industry, is set to take place from 7 – 9 May 2025 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre. Building on the success of previous editions, Secutech 2025 promises to amplify the momentum of its predecessors, reinforcing its role as a vital hub for business and technology. Expecting around 300 exhibitors in total, the fair’s organiser is also anticipating a diverse array of visitors, attracted by the showcase of ground-breaking solutions and the opportunity to foster industry collaboration.

The global IoT security market is experiencing significant growth, projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.4%, reaching approximately USD 61.6 billion by 2028[1]. This growth is driven by widespread adoption across sectors including manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare, amid increasing concerns over cybersecurity threats. Taiwan’s emphasis on developing smart cities and advanced security solutions places it as a key player in the global market landscape, with Secutech poised for participants to harness domestic and international market potential.

With Taiwan’s security market growing steadily and its heightened focus on cybersecurity, we see significant opportunities for innovation and collaboration. The fair will showcase a wide range of advanced solutions, including AI-driven surveillance systems and smart access control. Having already attracted leading exhibitors from across categories, next year‘s show will be the ideal platform for buyers to discover market-ready technologies that meet the evolving demands of diverse sectors.”

Across the fairground, products and solutions will be categorised under six key themes, allowing exhibitors and visitors to effectively engage with innovative technology solutions:

·        AI-empowered security – exhibitors such as VIVOTEK, Panasonic will present novel intelligent surveillance systems, gate control technologies, video surveillance services, and comprehensive security solutions. This segment will highlight the integration of AI to enhance security monitoring and response capabilities.

·        AI applications the latest advancements in smart logistics, smart transportation systems, and retail solutions will be featured. Companies such as Hi sharp, 3S will display how AI technologies are revolutionising these sectors by strengthening operational efficiency, optimising supply chains, and improving customer engagement.

·        Intelligent building & smart home – solutions from TP-LINK, BESENSE, will highlight technologies for building safety and smart home automation, focusing on sustainable development practices. This segment will showcase energy-efficient designs, user-friendly interfaces, and functional features that create a smarter, more secure living environment.

·        Smart factory – innovations in industrial facility safety and occupational safety will be highlighted. Various exhibitors, such as GKB, ADELA, and TES Electrical Electronic, will demonstrate how smart technologies enhance safety protocols, streamline operations, and reduce risks in manufacturing environments.

·        Smart fire & disaster prevention – exhibitors including APLUS Molds & Plastics and Hing Gu Electronics, will showcase cutting-edge firefighting innovations and advanced disaster prevention solutions, focusing on fire detection systems and integrated emergency response tools aimed at improving public safety and preparedness.

·        loT cybersecurity – this category will address essential cybersecurity concerns for connected devices. As IoT applications become increasingly widespread, cybersecurity protection has emerged as a crucial concern. To prevent cybersecurity incidents, relevant standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, ETSI EN 303 645, and CNS16120 have been introduced both domestically and internationally. Secutech 2025 will emphasise the importance of cybersecurity and showcase comprehensive preparations through connected devices and smart applications in the fields of security, fire & safety, and SMAbuilding.
