Is Taiwan an important market for you?
Although Taiwan is an "almost-mature" market in terms of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and fire helmets, local firefighters are paying more and more attention to safety, protection and quality requirements. This is in line with Dräger’s company principle to provide high-quality products that will comply with safety standards.
To stay close to where the market demand is, Dräger has established a local branch in the country – Dräger Safety Taiwan. With our strong background in dealing with rescue and escape, and health and safety issues in various countries, we can definitely share and pass on the correct concept of equipment cleaning and maintenance in Taiwan as well.
Please share some products/solutions that Dräger is offering to the market.
Dräger has a lot of experience in building fire simulation training systems, search and rescue, and escape training system in various countries. In a real firefighting situation, there is no time to get used to the stress, heat and smoke. Mistakes in tactics can have grave consequences.
We provide a variety of training scenarios and trainers so that firefighters can be ready and safe at any time. Exposure to Dräger fire training systems offer the best possible preparation for real firefighting. So when you are fighting fires, you are not playing with fire.
The Dräger flash-over training systems facilitate training using realistic fire scenarios. The development of fire from the initial source of ignition to the break-out of smoke can be observed, and the necessary behaviors and extinguishing types can be taught.
The Dräger Industrial fire training systems can be used to train for safety and fire fighting in industrial plants (e.g., chemical or petrochemical) to lower potential risks.
We also provide rescue and escape equipment. Our Dräger Rescue Pack System (RPS) 3500 is designed for use by rapid intervention teams. This allows firefighters to supply air to trapped colleagues or members of the public in hazardous atmospheres.
Who are your target customers?
Our target audience includes firefighters, chief, search and rescue teams, fire scene investigators, and personnel in charge of work safety training. We hope to inform the market about our wide range of training systems and products that comply with internationally recognized standards. Dräger can help them with tailor-made services and workshop solutions for optimized workflows and equipment maintenance.
